What is Natural Gas for Vehicles?
Compressed Natural Gas for use as a transportation fuel is generally referred to as NGV or Natural Gas for Vehicles. Natural Gas is a hydrocarbon which is colourless, odourless, non-toxic and much lighter than air. It is also the cleanest burning fossil fuel available today.

Common Vehicle Applications

Most current NGVs on the road are bi-fuel, gasoline-powered vehicles that have been upfitted with an aftermarket natural gas system to run on natural gas, with gasoline becoming the back-up fuel. With all these options, it's easy to see why so many people are becoming NGV owners!
