What is NGV?
Compressed natural gas for use as a transportation fuel is referred to as Natural Gas for Vehicles (NGV).
Natural gas is a hydrocarbon which is colourless, odourless, non-toxic and much lighter than air. It is also the cleanest burning fossil fuel available today. It is the same fuel that most Canadians use to heat their homes and to cook with.

How do NGVs Impact the Environment?
NGVs produce up to 20% less smog and climate changing air pollutants than gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles per kilometre driven.
Dedicated factory-built NGVs are the cleanest internal combustion vehicles available today.
Natural gas converted and factory built bi-fuel vehicles are also less polluting than conventional vehicles.
